+ What is the Race Academy?

  • The Race Academy@T-City is, in essence, a race driving school. A School that offers a unique opportunity for anyone to get into professional racing; inexpensively. Our aim is to create a racing platform where anyone can pursue motorsports, not just as a recreational hobby, but as a lifestyle that can even become a rewarding career path.

+ How old do I need to be to participate?

  • Bandolero Cars: From 6 years old!
  • Legend Cars: From 12 years old!
  • *Please note that drivers under 18 years old, you are required to submit a signed Parental Consent Form along with your application, Only with this form will you be allowed to participate.

+ Do I need to know how to drive a manual transmission?

  • Bandolero Cars: No! These cars are just like karting! Just a brake and a throttle!
  • Legend Cars: Not really. Although these cars use manual transmission, they are motorcycle-style clutch system. You’ll learn it in a jiffy!

+ Do you have to be a Legend Car owner to attend a class?

  • No! Although we recommend drivers to have their own vehicle, so you get accustomed into their own tailored set up. Drivers are welcome to use our rental vehicles to get you started and fall in love with these fun (and powerful) cars as much as we do.

+ What do I need to bring?

  • Racing shoes and racing gloves are recommended. If you have your own suit and helmet, you can bring them as well, as long as they meet applicable current car racing safety (Snell, SFI, FIA, etc.) standards.
  • If you don’t already have your own racing gear, fret not, you can enjoy shopping for your own new set at your Race Academy Lounge!

+ How much time is spent in the classroom vs track time?

  • In our “3-Day Race Pro Advance Programme”, you will only be taking a few short theory sessions, just to get your prepped up. You will be spending MOST of your time on the track and in the vehicle!

+ How much track time do I get?

  • A LOT! At The Race Academy, you receive more track time for your money. Our philosophy is: there is no better place to learn than behind the wheel! The Race Academy prides itself on delivering the top value in all racing schools.

  • We operate the first oval racing and stock car racing facility in South East Asia.

PROFESSIONAL RACING

+ How can I become a professional race car driver?

  • A racing driver’s career can be tumultuous. Every driver dreams of being a pro driver or racing in the various top league championships. Dedication, self-discipline, and determination are key in making it to the top. Over the past two decades, US Legend Cars International, has catered to in excess of a thousand to novice drivers and brought them up to professional race car drivers level. Unlike any other motorsports paths, over 50 of USA’s top league stock car racing drivers started their successful career through Legend Cars. OVER 50 in just 25 years!

  • Drivers start by first taking our standard 3-Day Race Pro Advance Programme to obtain their INEX Racing License, from there, they can enter into lower level racing divisions. With the INEX point system, Drivers may compete at international levels for Legend Cars and Bandolero Cars, and grow to higher level racing categories from there. We provide our graduates with options and introductions to pursue racing upon request.

+ After taking a course at the Race Academy, can I start my race career?

  • Next step after taking our 3-Day Race Pro course is to attain the INEX Racing License and start racing competitively in the various racing divisions hosted by USLCMY and our strategic partners. Get started and join us in the fast lane! We provide our graduates with options and introductions to pursue racing upon request.

+ What do I have to do to participate in the USLCMY Race Series?

  • Prior to participating in their first Race Series event, drivers must complete at least one (1) Advanced Programme and take the technical examination to obtain the American Racing Club (A.R.C.) Racing Licence.
